Designers Redman Whitely Dixon used powerful automotive software to design the elegant lines and curves of the superstructure.At 73.69 metres (242 feet) ILONA is an elegantly proportioned vessel, considering the design challenge of providing a helicopter landing pad and a fully retractable system to stow the aircraft in its own below-deck fireproof hangar.Two custom 9.5-metre tenders are concealed in their own bays. Each side has a foldaway beach at water level, and there are 65 underwater lights for nighttime drama.
